題目：京都市観光の現状と取組


概要：京都観光の現状と取組について，総論的に説明する。
まずは，近年の京都市観光施策の変遷（量よりも質，質の向上による量の確保）を知っていただいたうえで，現在の観光振興計画の考え方，目標等について説明する。
データ面（観光客数，宿泊客数，消費額等）からも，京都観光の好調さが捉えられる一方，急激な外国人観光客の増加や国内観光客の伸び悩みが予想されるなど，京都観光の強みと課題に触れる。
そして，課題への対応として，宿泊施設に係る取組方針や観光客の分散化，観光経済効果の市民生活への向上と伝統文化，伝統産業や中小企業振興への取組などを例に，市民生活と観光との調和を最優先にした京都市の観光政策の考え方についても説明する。

題目：京都市におけるオープンデータの取組


概要：京都市では平成２８年１１月にオープンデータポータルサイトを開設し，以来データの利活用促進に取り組んでいる。本イベントの参加者の方々が分析・検討を行う際の一助となるよう，同サイトで公開している観光関連のデータその他主 要データ，及びこれまでのデータ活用事例について紹介する。併せて，同サイトの便利な機能（プレビュー機能，LOD，API等）についても簡単に触れる。

題目：国連世界観光機関(UNWTO)の役割とその活動について


概要：世界の観光客数は2017年に13億人に上り、2030年には18億人に上ると予測されています。観光による経済効果が期待されているなか、オーバーツーリズム等といった弊害も近年、議論されるようになりました。そこでUNWTOの役割およびUNWTOが促進する持続可能な観光について紹介します。

題目：統計データの利活用推進に向けて

概要：総務省統計局・独立行政法人統計センターでは、国の基幹的統計データの作成・提供に加え、統計データの利活用推進にも注力しており、本年４月には推進拠点となる「統計データ利活用センター」を和歌山県に開設することとしています。統計データの重要性が一層高まるなか、その利活用推進に向けた動きを紹介いたします。

題目：2017 International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development: Overview and Legacy

概要：In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly and its member states approved the designation of 2017 as the Year of International Sustainable Tourism for Development after recognizing the role of tourism in development and its contribution to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals. The International Year presented an opportunity for everyone in the tourism sector and all related industries to delve into the sector’s potential to help make the world a better place. This presentation will provide highlights of UNWTO’s led initiatives, events and activities conducted throughout the International Year including the Travel.Enjoy.Respect campaign, and the designation of 12 Special Ambassadors. It will also share a snapshot of legacies and ongoing efforts such as the “Chengdu Declaration and the Sustainable Goals” and the MST (Measuring Sustainable Tourism) Framework, among others.

題目：２０１７年国連開発のための持続可能な観光国際年における我が国の取り組み、そして未来へ

概要：昨年２０１７年は国連開発のための持続可能な観光国際年であった。この１年間に我が国においても開発のための持続可能な観光に関する様々な取り組みを行った。２０１７年に我が国が「開発のための持続可能な観光」をキーワードに１年間に何を行い、そして、どのような発見と進展があったかについて国内の事例を紹介する。そして、何を日本の次の世代に引き継げるのかについて、観光立国日本の戦略と将来の課題について述べる。

講演者：Mr. Volker Genetzky （Deputy Head of Division “Development of digital technologies”, German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy）

題目：Digital Technologies – Smart Data


概要：The Economics Ministry would like to present its own activities in the field of digital technologies and also report on other projects with a focus on mobility. It should be a starting point for the exchange of experience about programms of both the ministries of Germany and Japan. In the German delegation, representatives of the German medium-sized company travelbasys will be in charge of the project “iTESA” funded by the BMWi with a focus on “Smart Data – Innovations from data”. A short presentation of itesa project (travelbasys) is included in the presentation.
Cooperation possibilities between Germany and Japan in general and with respect to itesa will be discussed. With ITESA an automatic alarm system is set up, warns the travelers in real time against travel risks. Looking at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, we would like to help the SMEs to develop contacts in Japan to exchange experiences or for the formation of partnerships. For further information two publications with an overview about our department in the ministry and about our programm smart data, where the description of transportation systems and logistics is included, are given.
